Salon Policies & Terms of Service

Guest Contact Information

In the event that incorrect contact information is provided; including but not limited to name, mobile number and email address. Jordan Alexander Salon & Barbers / Atelier|Alexander may not be held responsible for loss of correspondence, such as appointment confirmation or reminder emails. In instances of incorrect or inaccurate contact information being provided, it is the guest responsibility to identify these errors and contact Jordan Alexander Salon to have them rectified or by logging into their online booking profile and correcting them.

Booking Confirmation

Automated booking correspondence will be delivered to the guest to confirm any appointments booked using the details provided by the guest. Additionally, a reminder email, herein referred to as the reminder will be delivered 48-72 hours prior to commencement of appointment

Deposits

All guests are required to pay a deposit of 25% of the service fee at the time of booking to secure their appointment.  The deposit is fully refundable if the appointment is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Deposit is deducted from service at time of payment when service is complete.

Arrival

Please be aware that our appointments are time-specific.  If you arrive late, we may need to customise or reschedule your appointment.  If you are running 15 minutes late or later for your appointment, we suggest you give us a call as the service may have to be rescheduled.

Cancellations

As a courtesy to our service providers, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice for any amendments or cancellations to your bookings.  Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a charge of 50% of the cost of treatment.  Please note that all prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Change of Mind

Jordan Alexander Salon & Barbers / Atelier|Alexander will not issue price adjustments or refunds for any guests that change who change their mind on the style, cut or colour received in service. We offer an in-depth comprehensive consultation to advise and recommend guests on suitable hair cuts/colouring prior to all appointments. If a guest declines our recommendation and insists upon their chosen style, this accountability lies with the guest and the guest will have to pay for the service and any adjustments required afterwards.

Lifting, Breakages & Repairs

Before every chemical/colour service, we require guests to have a consultation and patch test (at least 48 hours prior to appointment) to discuss what they would like to achieve with their hair. During this consultation it is important to that you are 100% honest (however uncomfortable) about your hair, what you have done previously over the years, and what you are using at home on your hair - we hold no judgement.

Any damages as a result of dishonesty from guests on previous service history/at home products/medications/ treatments will be at the guests on risk.

Honestly - honesty is the best policy - we want to help you get the hair you desire and in the healthiest and safest way possible.

Age Restrictions

Jordan Alexander Salon & Barbers / Atelier|Alexander can only perform chemical/colouring services on guests over the age of 16 years old as stated by law.

Guests may be required to provide ID before the commencement of a chemical/colouring service. Guests under the age of 16 years old will be denied service.

Right to refuse service

Jordan Alexander Salon & Barbers / Atelier|Alexander retains the right to refuse service at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to; frequent cancellations, lateness, failure to comply with the policies included in this document, any guest with an abusive manner.
